BBC iPlayer App To Be Available On iPhone And iPod Touch From Thursday, Dec 8

Earlier this year, BBC’s iPlayer iPad app extended their subscription-based streaming service to eleven European countries, and recently added Canada, Scandinavia, and Australia to top sixteen territories globally. Today the company has announced the app will be available on iPhone and iPod touch starting Thursday, December 8 (via TNW).

The global BBC iPlayer app is a Video-on-Demand (VoD) pilot subscription service which is different from the UK version of iPlayer, in which it gives international users access to an extensive archive of classic and contemporary British TV programmes.

The UK iPlayer service is more focused on catch-up TV, with a 30-day window to watch following the initial broadcast.

[How to] Sync iMessages Across All iDevices

We have already discussed how to Set up iMessage, in our previous post. Now the next thing that can be done is, if you happen to use multiple iOS devices then you will surely want to sync your conversations across them all. This is supposed to happen automatically as long as the iMessage account on each iOS device is set to the same Apple ID, but it doesn’t always do so. If your iMessages aren’t syncing, then here’s how you can do this in a jiffy and also reliably sync across all your devices.

Along with the launch of the new iPods, Apple has also revamped its boxing and packaging style and now offers the iPods in a transparent plastic brick. This new minimalistic design does look pretty neat.

Apple's Next Event 9th Sept

Apple recently sent out invites to its next Special Event which is going to be held this September the 9th. The invitation picture above resembles the iPods Interface with a tag line Let’s Rock.

The event will take place at Yerba Buena Center in Sans Francisco at 10am Pacific.

The design of the Invitation hints strongly at Apple releasing its rumored iPod Nano 4th Generation along with price drops for iPod Touch.
