Along with the launch of the new iPods, Apple has also revamped its boxing and packaging style and now offers the iPods in a transparent plastic brick. This new minimalistic design does look pretty neat.

Apple's Next Event 9th Sept

Apple recently sent out invites to its next Special Event which is going to be held this September the 9th. The invitation picture above resembles the iPods Interface with a tag line Let’s Rock.

The event will take place at Yerba Buena Center in Sans Francisco at 10am Pacific.

The design of the Invitation hints strongly at Apple releasing its rumored iPod Nano 4th Generation along with price drops for iPod Touch.

Engadget’s Spanish branch recently spotted what appears to be a iPod Nano 4th Generation Screen. Just a few days back I’d posted about the ReVamped Design of the iPod Nano.

iPod Nano Revamped + other Major Rumors

Kevin Rose, Founder and Architect of Digg.com informed us about the latest major News about Apple’s line of iPod. The iPod Nano is said to have undergone a major revemp in its design.

Take a look at the Pic and Video Below to see how the new iPod Nano Looks like !

Some other Rumors that Kevin posted were :

Revamp of entire iPod line.
Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
iTunes 8.0 (“it’s a big update w/new features”).
All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.
