OnLive Offers Console Quality On-Demand Gaming on iOS Devices, Launches It’s iPad Client

OnLive the Cloud gaming company has released their playable OnLive client for iPad and iPhone. OnLive enables its users to avail console-quality games for Macs, PCs, TVs (and now mobile devices) by remotely streaming the game from their central servers. The client device need not be fast enough to render high resolution graphics — instead it simply has to play back what amounts to a video stream of the game, while user controls are sent back to the central server.

For the first time, users can play actual games which earlier can only be played on PC or Macs, on a relatively low power device such as a tablet or smartphone. With Onlive’s just-launched mobile app, DiRT 3, Assasin’s Creed Revelations, L.A. Noire and many more titles can now be played on  iPad and soon, the iPhone.

Now Make Motion Videos On iPhone With Glidetrack Mobislyder

One film technique that separates the pros from the amateurs is the tracking or dolly shot. With a tracking shot, the camera moves along a track, providing a sense of motion that isn’t possible with a static camera. Glidetrack pioneered a portable camera slider (AKA track) in 2008, and now the company is taking pre-orders for a relatively inexpensive (US$135 introductory price) device called the mobislyder that’s designed for shooting video with the iPhone, iPod touch, and other small cameras.

xCon Allows To Evade Jailbreak Detection by Apps On iPhone

Jailbreaking iPhone isn’t illegal, but its not that Apple has to like it. They probably hate it the most  and thus with each update they make it more and more difficult for the talented community to release a successfuljailbreaking tool. One tool Apple has developed to hamper  jailbreak users is to create apps that recognize a modified handset when installed via iTunes. Upon opening such apps, an alert will appear on your screen:

“Jailbreak detected. App cannot run on a jailbroken device.”

The user will then have no choice but to either restore their device to a non-jailbroken state or go without using the specific app.

Luckily, a recent tweak submitted to Cydia by the name of xCon attempts to bypass the issue. The tweak is free of charge but allows the workaround on only a few apps.

The short list currently supports the following applications:

The highlight of the show is a mode called one-touch marathon. As each piece drops you can get a set of optional places on screen to put it, and when you touch the place you want, the piece goes there. No more twisting pieces around and waiting for them to fall in, just touch where they need to be and kaboom!! they will be.
