iPhone 4S Users Brace Yourself For A Jailbreak Within Weeks

The Dream Team as they are liked to call themselves have revealed on their blog that, they are closing in on A5 Jailbreak for iPhone 4s. As mentioned by these iOS hackers on their blog a jailbreak “is only a matter of days away”.

A renowned iOS hacker had gathered the Dream Team to assist him on this jailbreak which is for both iPhone 4s and iPad 2. Also he has other hackers  like planetbeing, MuscleNerd, and p0sixnija are also involved.
Pod2g mentions on his blog:

“Here are some news about the current work on the A5 research. @planetbeing escaped from the sandbox with the help of @saurik. Thanks to their awesome work, there should be nothing left blocking for the A5 jailbreak. Now it should be a matter of days. Still no precise ETA of course. We all want this to be finished ASAP, we’re getting tired!”

Apple To Bid For EPL Streaming Rights [Rumor]

Yesterday, The Daily Mail reported that both Apple and Google are interested in purchasing rights to stream Premier League content through their respective Apple TV and Google TV services. This will allow Apple TV to gain a strong foothold in the United Kingdom and also boost its iPad sales.The rights which ESPN and Sky hold to screen football matches expire at the end of the 2011-2012 season, and the Premier League will consider bids for next season.The Mail also reported that Sky, ESPN and Al Jazeera are three bidders currently interested for broadcast rights.

On Wednesday, Apple revealed a new update to its iBooks iOS app, with new features like night-time reading theme, full-screen layout, new fonts and an improved annotation palette. iBooks is an amazing way to download and read books.

iBooks includes the iBookstore, where you can download the latest best-selling books or your favorite classics – day or night.

Browse your library on a beautiful bookshelf, tap a book to open it, flip through pages with a swipe or a tap, and bookmark or add notes to your favorite passages.

[InfoGraphic] Apple v/s Samsung Patent Wars

We have seen a lot of it already, Apple seeking ban on Samsung Tablets in multiple countries worldwide and succeeding in some while still fighting for it in some of them.

For those who are still not aware of this ongoing patent wars between Apple And Samsung, here’s a nice Infographic created by MBA explaining the whole fiasco within a picture. Where it all Started with the Launch of Samsung Galaxy Series Devices and the first victory for Apple resulting in Galaxy Tab ban in Germany which was soon followed by ban in Australia(0f which australian case trial is postponed till march 2012 recently).

While Samsung was surely facing the heat, they too got success of sorts when they asked Apple to give away the Source code of iPhone 4S coding to avoid further conflicts, which eventually exploited their technology the rivals directly.

Apple Suggested Alternate Designs to Samsung For it’s Galaxy Smartphones and Tabs

All of us know about the heating battle between Apple and Samsung with Apple seeking ban on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab due to similar designing of their tablet to the Apple’s highly popular iPad which is currently a leader in the tablet marketshare.

[Rumor] Apple To Launch 4G Enabled iPhone & iPad Next Year

In the latest report regarding Apple’s future adoption of LTE/4G for its mobile devices. As reported  by Macotakara on Wednesday, Japane’s Nikkei Business reported that carrier NTT DoCoMo is in talks to release an LTE-capable iPad in the summer of 2012. That would be followed by a new 4G LTE iPhone in the autumn, or one year after the iPhone 4S launched.Executives from NTT DoCoMo reportedly visited Apple in the U.S. this month and met with CEO Tim Cook. Apparently, Apple is looking to release a 4G iPad next year, if this report is to be believed.
