Who would you Pick if you have to choose between the sexiest man alive and the man who looks deceptively similar to the Legend himself Late. Steve Jobs for his Upcoming Biopic ?

According to The Sun apparently George Clooney is giving a tough competition to his ER Co Star Noah Wyle who is well known for his Pirates of the Silicon Valley role in which he portrayed younger Steve Jobs in his early days and foundation of  Apple.

VMWare Fusion 4.1 Enables Virtualization of Leopard And Snow Leopard

Recently, VMware released an update to its popular virtualization software that adds many improvements. It’s called Fusion 4.1 T and it is promised to get rid of any bugs. Although, the biggest improvement is the applications ability to run older versions of Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard.It has been  known for a long time that Fusion can support Mac OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard virtual machines, but Apple’s licensing prohibits this.

Now, Apple has altered the Mac OS X licensing terms with the release of Mac OS X Lion. The new software license allows users to install and use virtual machines running the client or server version of Lion on their Mac.  But, it doesn’t mention anything about older versions of Mac OS X , hence its assumed that its prohibited.

iPhone 4S Vs Galaxy Nexus

The very first of its kind, Ice Cream Sandwich handset, the Galaxy Nexus, was unleashed this week in UK and AnandTech has benchmarked Galaxy Nexus vs. the iPhone 4S.  The Galaxy Nexus processor/GPU isn’t what was expected of it but, the new package inside packs a punch beating iOS marginally in browser spped test as shown below. However, Apple’s iPhone 4S and iPad 2 breeze pass the Galaxy Nexus in GPU loading — which is limited by its slower SGX 540, which is very crucial for gaming purposes.The iPhone 4S makes use of the A5 processor, which makes use of the dual-core SGX 543MP2 GPU from Imagination Technologies.

[How to] Run Windows Applications on Mac using WinOnX

Mac OS X has thousands of apps available but as we all know being the leader in worldwide PC market share, Windows has the largest application base as compared to Mac OS X and not all the apps which run on Windows platform run seamlessly on OSX.

So till now we either used Bootcamp for Windows or try other types of virtualization software like Parallels or VMWare to run Windows based application on Mac OS X.

Not anymore! Nirmal Balachandran a fellow MVP recently reported about a great software which allows us to run Windows applications on Mac OSX. WinOnX App allows us to use Windows based apps on our Mac OSX environment, it is based on the popular Wine open source project which is well known for running Windows apps on open source operating systems like Linux.

Thicker iPad 3, All Metal 4-Inch iPhone 5 Coming This Summer [Rumor]

Rumor Mills have started a new rumor about possible changes in next year’s Apple product lineup. iLounge reports that one of their trusted source has spoken of three things which will be on display next summer. The first on the agenda being, iPad 3 will be slightly thicker than the iPad 2, secondly, The iPhone 5 to be released as a 4-inch device, and finally, a new look MacBook Pro line will be launched.

Firstly, we shall discuss the iPad 3 being slightly thicker than iPad 2 scenario:

iPad 3 is rumored to be 0.77mm or about 8% thicker than iPad 2. This is required to install the twin light bar system needed to illuminate a 9.7-inch Retina Display. Makes sense to us, as does iLounge’s claim that the iPad 3 would be released in March but shown off for the first time in January which would give developers ample amount of time to update their iPadapps to the new Retina Display.
