Here’s what the new Twitter version for iOS has to offer:

Faster and simpler.

It all starts at Home screen: a personal collection of Tweets from the sources you care about. The Tweet details show rich information such as replies, retweets and embedded images.

Connect: where you can see who is follwing or mentioning you, RTing you, or favorating your tweets. So connect does what Activity tab does on the web page.

Discover: allows you to see latest trending topics all over the world. You can also find friends, browse interests, and explore hashtags in this feature.

Me: Allows you to use the Direct Messaging feature of Twitter to interact with your friends confidentially.

But now Applidium, well known for bringing the open source VLC player on the App Store (which was eventually pulled due to some licensing issues) have reported that they have successfully cracked the Siri Protocol and were able to communicate with the Apple Servers using a computer, that is fooling the servers to get recognized as if the signals were originating from an iPhone 4S.

Just hours after the release of the beta 1 there were some issues with the registration of the device for the developers. But Apple has just released the second beta for the iOS 5.0.1 with the build 9A404. This update is available for those who have updated their iDevices to the first iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 update as an over the air update.

So those of you who’ve already downloaded and installed iOS 5.0.1 Beta 1 from the links we posted before, you should simply perform a OTA update. OTA updates are much smaller in size.

So the rumors were indeed true, from the past couple of days we have been hearing about the official gmail app for iOS based devices is ready for the release and now after just hours of the rumor widespread the App is now available over App Store for all iOS 4+ devices.

Here are some of it’s key features:

● Receive notification badges for new messages
● Read your mail with threaded conversations
● Organize your mail by archiving, labeling, starring, deleting, and reporting spam
● Keep track of important messages with priority inbox
● Auto-complete contact names as you type
● Send and receive attachments
● Search through all your mail

With this release of the official Gmail app from google the main question arise why? If google had to launch this application on the iOS platform what took so much long to do so? and now as they are arche rivals with Apple with their own Mobile Operating System, what’s really cooking in their mind?

Anyways for a moment just keep all the controversies and questions aside, just head over to the App Store to Download Gmail app for iOS

This is supposed to happen automatically as long as the iMessage account on each iOS device is set to the same Apple ID, but it doesn’t always do so.
