iHologram : Amazing iPhone App

iHologram from the name itself gives us a hint of what it does. iHologram works by assuming a constant viewing angle (35-45 degrees), typical for when the device is placed on a tabletop. The 3D Scene’s perspective is then warped using anamorphic perspective, making the object appear to jump off the screen.

This indeed looks very cool. Check out the Video below :

Dock for Firmware 2.0+ Available now

Dock, one of my favorite application launching programs on the iPhone, has been ported to the 2.0 firmware by Nate Tru. One of the best things about Dock is that is it available in any application. By simply swiping your finger along the bottom of your screen will activate Dock. But now, it’s back with an entirely new look.

Earlier they used a Sun Beam at the Bottom Right Corner which sprang out like a pack of cards. But now it uses an entirely new mechanism.

Writing Pad App uses Unique Input Method

Just today I downloaded a new application called Writing Pad for the iPhone. Whats special about this Application was that the unique technique one could use to Input Text.

It uses an absolutely unique and innovative technique to enter text. What it does is that it enables you to enter text into the iPhone by tracing word shapes rather than typing letters.

All you have to do is move over the letter of the word you want to type making a contact point on each letter, Writing Pad accurately captures it and also shows you other possible suggestions !

Other features include the regular option to EMail the text and Auto Saving feature.

iPhone no doubt has opened up a whole new area for Software Developers. The iPhone as a software platform provides tremendous potential for the Developers to earn good money mainly because of the Application Distribution System deviced by Apple called the App Store !

A Part-Time iPhone Developer has revealed that she makes upto 1800$ per day !

Eliza Block, the Developer of a Crossword Puzzle game called “2 Across” found out that she’d made close to 1800$ on Wednesday and the earnings were similar on following days.

iPhone gets Copy Paste function

Among many other features, the iPhone lacked basic Copy Paste Functionality. Many people including me were hoping that Apple would be adding this functionality in the 2.0 but still no sign of it.

So finally as usual some 3rd Party Developer decided and came up with 1st Ever Application for iPhone supporting the Copy Paste Function along with a Rich Text Editor !

MagicPad, a rich text-editor, the first of its kind for the iPhone, allows users to create text documents in which they can change fonts, text sizes, colors, and even add bold, italic, underline, and strike-through effects to their text. After creating their customized memos, users can also email the rich-text notes to themselves or friends.

iPhones latest Software Update 2.0 introduced a whole lot of new applications for the User via its App Store. Tons of new Developers are joining the iPhone Software Development camp as there’s a huge amount of potential in iPhone as a software platform.

With Facebook, NYTimes and other similar Companies already launched their iPhone centric Application a new addition was made to that Big Names list – WordPress !

WordPress is the Worlds largest and most used Blogging Software. WordPress recently launched their very own Blogging Application for the iPhone to help iPhone users Blog on the move. The Application is Opensource and supports Blogs hosted on both WordPress.com and also Self-Hosted Blogs (v2.5 and above).
