SiriOus which was an attempt to bring the most popular iPhone 4S voice recognition feature Siri on the older iDevices like the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and other iDevices like iPod Touch without the requirement of any iPhone 4S keys or files.
But as reported earlier by iDownloadBlog, just hours after making the SiriOus tool available over the Cydia Store, the SiriOus servers were experiencing outage due to high traffic over the initial launch period the developer Eric Day pulled the app from the Cydia Store and is now working on a different voice recognition service which can be used legally for his tweak.
Since Nuance has refused to sell Eric the rights to use their voice recognition technology in his tweak, he’s now searching for an alternative. So the future of Siri on older iDevices is unsure at the moment unless and until he finds out an alternative voice recognition service.
