The Google Voice app for iOS was suddenly pulled out from the App Store by Google due to some login bugs in the app indicating the incompatibility with the recently released update for the iDevices the iOS 5.
The Google Voice app was removed because it was crashing the app at the sign in screen, so to fix the bug and to avoid the users from getting issues with such bugs the app was pulled from the store and the fix is in the working for the same as reported earlier by Engadget.
Vincent Paquet, Senior Product Manager for Google Voice confirmed that the app had been pulled, explaining “our last update of this week had a bug that caused the app to crash at sign in. We removed it so it did not affect additional users until the fix gets published.”
The official statement didn’t mention anything about the tentative dates for the fixing of the bugs or bringing back the app in a near time. We will keep you posted about the same as soon as we get anything on this issue and other related news.
