The iPhone has opened up limitless possibilities and ideas for Developers. The things which you could do with the iPhone are countless!
Here’s a concept I came upon by Ocean Observations which proposes a new way of using the iPhones Home Screen for navigation.
Their concept of the modified Springboard utilizes the Coverflow Mode for browsing of Apps within Springboard.

The whole point of that concept was to demonstrate how multitasking could work on an iphone, not browsing through apps on the home screen. It’s like if you look at the programs you’ve minimized on your desktop computer and think that’s how you can browse the applications currently installed on your machine. It’s how you can switch between applications that are currently running. You apparently missed the entire point of that mockup.
