HI, I tried to update my iphone from 1.1.4 to 2.1 but i am getting an error no 2002.

And after that my iphone is showing itunes icon with usb port under this icon.

@Game0utlaw : Are you sure you’re putting your iTouch into DFU Mode ?

Putting the Device into DFU Mode is very important. DFU Mode is one, wherein the iPods Screen will the totally Black but iPod will the recognized by the PC.

Where error do you get ? Post a screenshot if possible…

every time i try to quickpwn my ipod touch. i get to the command prompt (the black screen), and then i get an error report. im makes me close quickpwn and i dont know how to get past it. Ive looked on countless websites and the most help i got was the getto way of unpluging it and pluging it back in. I would realy apriciate some help with this. Please

@tomas, you need to put the iphone into DFU mode so that quickpwn can access the necessary files on the iphone operating system on the phone to unlock/jailbreak it. just chek out any quickpwn tutorial, and just swap out the version numbers in the guide. check out this site for DFU mode, http://limitededitioniphone.com/how-to-put-the-iphone-into-dfu-mode/
